Mr. Winton is a private equity professional and middle market CFO with more than 12 years of finance, investment banking, and corporate strategy experience in the manufacturing, services, and financial industries. Since the formation of Illinois Avenue Partners (IAP), Mr. Winton has served as its CFO, leading both acquisitions and day-to-day operations. Mr. Winton has co-led the purchases of all IAP portfolio companies and has produced significant organic growth post-acquisition of those companies. He oversees all operations, finance, and administrative functions of the combined company. Prior to IAP, Mr. Winton worked at FS Investments. He was involved in a number of strategic initiatives, including the establishment of the firm’s middle market private equity and holding company strategies. Prior to working at FS Investments, Mr. Winton was an investment banker with Mufson Howe Hunter & Co. where he focused on recapitalization and growth financing transactions for private middle market companies.
